Ruthiomi rwa Gikuyu: Blogging 101, Day 9

Today am about to do things a little bit different. We get inspired by so many things and as i was spreading the love by being a good neighbor yesterday, i left a comment on generaliregi’s blog on Romance of Five Clouds and Magical poetry where he uses his mother tongue Kikuyu to express his poetry https://generaliregi.wordpress.com/2015/08/10/riria-ihinda-ria-kinyire/#comment-1432   Picking on that as my post today in the blogging 101 challenge, getting inspired by the neighbors; expressing oneself can be in many forms more so using different languages to convey a message to your audience. That inspired me and indeed showcases creativity and uniqueness. The next part of this post will be in my mother tongue, Kikuyu; letting everyone else know that knowing your mother tongue is really important.

Ndanacera kundu na kundu, miena na miena na witikie gikuyu nikio kiri na ruthiomi ruhuthu. Ona ndanageria kuiruta ruthiomi rungi rwa mihiriga ingi no ndihote no kai oo nimoi ruru rwitu-i! Kana, ona ugitaraga aria angi, onawe niuhotaga kurumirira uria kirira kiugite.Gatano, mundu niahotaga kuiyaria na ukamenyeka nikii urenda. Ona no wikore ukiandika mabuku ta Ngugi wa Thiong’o kana ukiina ta Peter Kigia withondekere muturire.
